Frequently Asked Questions  

1. When will the chocolate ship out?

A: Our chocolate ships out in 1 to 5 business days depending on inventory.

2. What is the shelf-life on the chocolate?

            A: The shelf-life on all of our chocolate except the truffles is approx. 2-3 months. The truffles only last 7 days and have to be kept refrigerated.

3. Allergy questions, Nuts, Gluten, Milk etc…

            A: Nut Allergy, we work with nuts so there could be traces in any of our products.

            A: Milk allergy, there is not any actual milk in our solid dark chocolate however we do work with milk so there could be traces in anything we make.

            A: Gluten (wheat) allergy, we do not have any actual gluten in our chocolate however we work with cookies which
contain gluten so there could be traces in any of our products.

4. Do you offer Sugar-Free?

            A: We currently offer a no sugar added dark chocolate truffle. These are perishable and have to be kept refrigerated as handled the same way as our other truffles. We will be adding a sugar-free dark chocolate bar sometime in the fall.

5. What are the shipping charges?

            A: Shipping charges will depend on the zip code and climate (See attached form)

6. Do I have to sign for the package?

            A: We do not require a signature for our shipments. If the recipient is not home the UPS will leave it at the address if they feel it is a safe location.

7. Who do you ship with?

            A: We use UPS as our carrier

8. Is there an extra charge for the note cards?

            A: NO

9. Do I get discount if I spend a certain amount?

            A: Our discounts begin when spending over $1000.00.  Please call us at 1-800-888-8742 for more details. 

10. Is there tax on my order?

            A: Sales tax is only added on to shipments that are shipped within the state on Connecticut.

11. What are you retail hours?

            A: Our summer hours are Monday thru Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm (these hours will go through Labor Day)

12. Do you offer Wedding favors?

            A: Yes. Please call us during normal business hours.

14. Do you ship internationally?

            A: Yes, we do ship Internationally using UPS Worldwide Express the shipping charge is approx. $80.00 depending on address.

15. I would like to see if my order shipped?

            A.  At this time we do not have online tracking of orders.  If you would like to track your order please call us at 1-800-888-8742.

16. Do you ship to Post Office Boxes?

            A: NO

17. What credit cards do you except?

            A: Visa, MasterCard and American Express

18. How much is the charge for the gift bow?

            A: $2.25

19. Do you offer tours?

            A: We no longer offer tours due to the liability involved with non employees entering our facility.

20. How many pieces are in a 1/2lb, 1lb or 2lb Assortment box?

            A: 1/2lb (10pieces), 1lb (20 pieces), 2lb (40 pieces)
